Evraz says steel output falls 5.9% to 12.8 mln tns in 2022

MOSCOW, May 31 (PRIME) -- The steel output of U.K.-based mining giant Evraz, which operates mainly in Russia, fell by 5.9% on the year to 12.8 million tonnes in 2022, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Evraz accounted for 15% of Russia’s steel production and 20% of the coal production in 2022, it also said.
